For the first time in his life Jesús used a non-indigenous grape as part of the Crianza blend – adding a touch of Merlot helped soften the tannic Graciano whilst adding red fruit character. The intoxicating aroma of cherries, wild berries and cassis lead you in to taste the powerful blend of oozing currants with an underlying note of toasted vanilla and a dash of white pepper. Reminiscent of a young Claret, this will benefit from some time in bottle, or if you can’t wait decant 2-3 hours before enjoying!
