A late release LBV bottled and Shipped by Warre but rebranded for the French market as J.W. Hart. Notes: An attractive bronze colour, looking fully mature; 40% opaque. A nose of sweet cherry, spiced beautifully with a grating of mace. Very mellow on the palate, fully mature with flavours of baked apple, cinnamon and cloves. Warm and spiced fruit. A little spearmint shows on the aftertaste, but quickly fades to a gentle black tea and apple finish. Fully mature Port, sliding gently into its place in history.
