Based in Sonoma County, Kistler Vineyards was established in 1978 by Mark Bixler and Steve Kistler, with a vision to produce exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines. They have a portfolio of ten vineyard-designated Chardonnay wines and four vineyard-designated Pinot Noir wines which represent some of California’s finest expressions of these Burgundian varieties.

This cuvée is made from younger plantings across several vineyards, primarily Laguna Ridge, Silver Belt and Gravenstein vineyard. The nose is poised and elegant, showing notes of wild red berries, violets, baking spices, and forest floor. On the palate, it’s vivid and bright, with succulent fruit, graceful tannins, and a silky mouthfeel. A few years in bottle have lent the wine additional savoury complexity, which emerges with aeration, adding further interest to this charming wine. A beautiful introduction to Kistler’s Pinot Noirs.
