This single vineyard 1987 vintage Port from Kopke has a medium garnet colour. Excellent bouquet of red fruit and candy floss. Sweet with good balancing acidity, with notes of caramel and a long finish. Bright red colour with a golden rim. A rich and aromatic nose made up of dried fruit, hazelnut and walnut, well combined with hints of spice. In the mouth, intense, smooth and delicious flavours of dried fruit are offset by a fresh note of candied orange peel. Good structure, fine balance and remarkable acidity.

Kopke is the worlds oldest Port house and is renowned for its historic stocks of vintage ports. This 1987 Vintage has been stored in the cellars of Kopke, until its release to the UK in 2021.
