These bottles have impeccable provenance having been held in Krohn’s own cellars since bottling. They were imported by VWP in December 2016.

Tasting note: Outstanding!! Pale tawny fading to amber on the rim. The nose is complex and multi-dimensional, notes of wild herbs, plum and mocha, coffee, tobacco around around a warm core. The palate displays a smooth, silky texture and finishes with a burst of rich mellow flavour. The finish is long and elegant.A, finely constituted port that is drinking well now but with careful cellaring it will hold for a few years.
