L’Astrolabe 2023 is a biodynamic Côtes du Rhône red wine, a 99% Syrah produced by Bernard Duseigneur at Domaine Duseigneur. Powerful, such a sunny juice!

99% Syrah from 50-year-old vines farmed biodynamically, planted on deep sands and sandstone at 160 meters altitude. A parcel selection from north-facing slopes, in Côtes du Rhône Villages, cru Laudun. Hand-harvested. Vinification: total destemming, indigenous yeasts, maceration in cement vats, 12 months of ageing in 600-liter demi-muids with just a touch of new oak. Bottled at the Domaine without fining or filtration, sensible use of sulphur.
