Jeff Carrelhas produced a serious, up-to-the-minute AOC La Clape, with a fine structure and a well-controlled balance between a round, full palate and a lovely fresh structure. The little quirky touch is that the grapes have been worked in carbonic maceration, adding a modern dimension with a juicy, round and fruity wine. This cuvée will not disappoint purists of the appellation, but will also appeal to those looking for easy, accessible reds.
