La Croix des Batailles is a phenomenalnatural wine – The nametranslates to “the cross of the battle”, we don’t know the reason behind this name but we think it must be about fighting over the last glass (if you are kind enough to share it, that is!). More seriously though, a wine after our own heart; generous and wide palate extended by measured acidity with a touch of spice/complexity on the finish. Genvat Negocé prime example – Pinot Noir from both Jura and Alsace in semi carbonic maceration, raised in old foudres for 1 year.

If you see this available and dont know about the Ganevats or Jura, dont hesitate. The availability is very scarce for these critically acclaimed wines.
