Only 8,000 bottles of this gourmet red wine are produced each year, and it is listed on the wine lists of several Michelin-starred restaurants. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand. In the cellar, the winemaker has opted for fermentation in large French oak barrels (500 and 600 litres) made inMeursaultby Damy. This choice of large containers ensures that the wood does not dominate, allowing the purity and fruitiness to shine through. La Diva has a clearSyrahdominance, but the magic ingredient is the Alicante from old, century-old vines. Cherry, chocolate, coffee�the heart is fleshy, the texture elegant and the tannins divinely silky. The winemaker chose to break away from theLanguedocAOC in order to be able to use Alicante in her blend (and thus be classified as a Vin de France).
