The only second vintage from the Lone Wolf Vineyard in Munoa Ranch. Planted on a Native American reservation about 1912, and then abandoned around 1965. This wine is made from every section of the vineyard, represented in proportion to the size of the sections: all of the fruit from the centre section of scrappy, old Mission vines; and then roughly half of Grenache from the the burly old vines in Pet Cemetery on the periphery of the vineyard, and half of the crazy, unpruned Mission, and Mission crosses, in the Wildlands.

The Mission (Pais) grape really shows here. Light in colour and style but intensely bright red fruit. Crunchy exotic, fierce and structured.
