Château Graulet is unusual in that its vines are on opposite slopes just before the estuary banks. The plateau located between these two slopes is called “La terre du Milieu” or Middle Earth, giving its name to the wine and making reference to the famous Tolkien trilogy! The terroir is formed of clay-gravel and clay-limestone soils, lending the wine beautiful mineral, fruity, sun-drenched notes, while remaining fresh. Made from 50%Merlotand 50%Cabernet Sauvignon , the Terre du Milieu cuvée offers a very aromatic, powerful palate of pure velvet. A balanced, delicious wine to discover!
