Laurent Miquel and his Irish wife, Neasa, are the current custodians of the land, marrying over 200 years of tradition with a rebellious, innovative approach to winemaking. La Gauphine Cabernet Sauvignon is defined by notes of cassis with a hint of smoke and savoury spices. The tannin profile is ripe with some firmness bringing an elegant overall structure to the wine.
