A nose bursting with lemon curd, peach cobbler, spiced-orange and honeysuckle unfolds over a background of wintergreen, spring flowers and soft baking spices. The palate follows the nose, layering lemon-meringue over crème-fraiche and salted-caramel with a river-stone/mineral base that is balanced by a massive core-weight and density. All this complexity is then swept away by exceptional acidity leading to what seems like an eternal finish. This wine will easily age well over the next decade but will probably last much longer!
