Difese is the latest addition to the Tenuta San Guido estate in Tuscany. Created in 2003, Difese takes its name from the local wild boar that roams the hills of Bolgheri. Notes of crushed flowers, succulent red cherries, mint, spices and blood orange invade the palate. Lively, attractive aromas of raspberry and cranberry with a touch of cedar follow through to a medium body, with fine tannins and a crisp finish. The 2022 is a particularly fine edition from a warm year, offering a fleshy, juicy and expressive wine, making it an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next few years.
