From a south-facing cru with a history of at least 300 years, the 2021 St Nicolas de Bourgueil Le Fondis is pure, fresh and open. On opening, the nose brings aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry. The palate is full, silky and complex, which perfectly balances the flavours. A pleasant length sublimates the palate on notes of liquorice with a soft aromatic intensity. An elegant and fresh wine, for gastronomy, to be savoured without depriving yourself!
