The old Gamay vines from which this cuvée is made face east, providing ideal exposure to the changing climate. In the cellar, the wine was matured for 10 months in oak barrels (one wine, two wines and new). On tasting, this is a dense Moulin-à-Vent with a fine tannic structure and elegant fruit. The finish is marked by discreet woody touches. It is ready to drink, but has the potential to keep for around ten years.
