Pinot Gris is responsible for somewhat confusing “orange wines” for the simple reason that they all range between vermilion rosé-like. The name Orange Wine is given to wines made from white grape varieties that have been macerated on their skins during the alcoholic fermentation, which shed darker colour and accentuated characteristics. And therefore, Pinot Gris that has a pink skin makes an orange wine looking like a rosé.

Now, to cut a long story short, its an absolute delight. One the nicest Pinot Gris macerations that we know – gentle on the nose and on the palate yet with focused, concentrated fruit. Acidity in just the right measure makes it extremely drinkable and also interesting.

Superb value for money. Excellent pair to light asian cuisine but also sushi (no wasabi) and roasted pork/poultry dishes. We recommend serving chilled but not too cold and opening 5-10 minutes before drinking.
