This cuvée is grown on the slopes of the prestigious winemaking villages of Saint-Laurent L’Abbaye and Saint-Père. There are limestone and flint hills, where the exposure to the sun is optimal.Golden in color with green reflections, this great Loire wine has fine, developed aromas of citrus mixed with hints of flint. The attack is clear and light on the palate, making way for a lovely balanced roundness accompanied by a crisp freshness with citrus notes. It is the following maturation in the bottle that gives this Pouilly its “smokey” aromas.
