The Chenin grapes ripen on sandy, silty clay and limestone soils, on the edge of the precipice and on a slight south-facing slope, which ensures good drainage and ideal sunshine. The summer of 2021 was hot and very dry, but the rains in mid-September totally transformed this vintage, helping to strike the right balance between acidity, fruit and structure. The result is a great vintage. This cuvée can be enjoyed young, for its floral and fresh white fruit aromas, but it also adapts very well to ageing, for 5 to 10 years, when it will develop a new complexity.
