Les Landions is made from a rigorous selection of Pinot Noir grapes (from the Cortaillod plot). The terroir is composed of glacial moraine, large stones, sand and gravel, making it very well-drained and excellent for wine. The bouquet is intense and complex, revealing its 18 months of ageing in 100% new French oak barrels, with notes of liquorice and berries such as raspberries and strawberries. There is also a pleasant hint of smoked bacon, reminiscent of certain greatBurgundyterroirs. On the palate, the wine is juicy and fruity. The silky tannins slowly reveal themselves on the finish. The finish is persistent. Without fining or filtration, this is a wine marked by freshness, delicacy and power. A great success.
