Tasting Note

The 1er cru Morgeot vineyards are positioned halfway up the slop on the western border of Chassagne-Montrachet, 100% Chardonnay, the wine is aged for between 12-15 months in French oak barrels to add depth and complexity. The wine is full of honey, almonds, vanilla and fresh hazelnuts with a floral hint and ripe pear fruitiness. The rich palate is balanced with a touch of spicy pepper and clean salinity on the finish.

An excellent wine to enjoy with roast chicken or to lay down for up to 7 years.

Les Parcellaires de Saulx is a tailor made wine house located in Meursault, established recently in 2017 on the foundations of a centuries old establishment with extensive, historic cellars. The focus here is to source grapes from around the most famous appellations in Burgundy, particularly seeking out growers who respect the terroir of the land and in particular growers who farm organically and biodynamically.
