Château de Pitray, founded in Gadgan nearSaint-Émilionin 1466, is one of the oldest family wineries in Bordeaux. Over the centuries, it has evolved and expanded thanks to the hard work of Louis de Simard de Pitray and his descendants. The vineyards are planted on clay-lime soils, where Pitray’s wines are elegantly crafted. The 2020 vintage is still young but already balanced, revealing aromas of ripe black fruits and warm, supple tannins that promise to develop wonderfully over the years.
