A fantastic discovery in the Saint Chinian appellation! The Domaine Clos de la Rivière has once again produced a surprising grand cuvée, this time called “Les Schistes de Paul”. This cuvée is characterised by its freshness and fruitiness, representative of the terroir and sunshine from which it comes. The wine has powerful aromas of black fruits such as blackcurrant and a beautiful tannic balance. The “schistose” side, which gives it its minerality, is clearly present. It has a very nice roundness and will go perfectly with a nice piece of meat! Definitely 100% low price and 100% pleasure!
