We’ve been on the hunt for a French Malbec that that is crafted in a focussed modern style that is all about natural fruit character, uncomplicated by oak and has none of that rusticity that has been a trademark of this variety in France for generations. I’m pleased to say that we’ve unearthed one and it was an absolute pleasure putting the final blend together with Winemaker Guillaume Létang, earlier in the year. The finished wine is packed with blue and black fruit and has the finest silky-smooth tannins.
