It reveals an intense bouquet of violet, marzipan, blackberry and black cherry, enriched with nuances of leather, blond tobacco and black pepper. The palate is full-bodied and silky, developing a smoky character and beautiful depth. The tannins are mellow, and the finish lingers with notes of dark chocolate and blueberry. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, this wine is the perfect accompaniment to roasted meats, spicy dishes or root vegetables.
