This is a bright, delicious and drinkable red, packed with flavour but without the ‘heftâ€?so often associated with Argentine reds. The little known Ancellotta grape originates from Emilia-Romagna in Italy and is best known for it’s deep, concentrated colour and structure. Blended here with Malbec to produce a vibrant red, completely unoaked, so all the delicious red berry and cherry fruit come to the fore. Try served ever so slightly chilled, with tapas or charcuterie.

With the growing demand for reduced alcohol wines, we were curious to hear about Mauricio Lorca’s new project to produce LOWER abv wines that were properly made, without resorting to the use of additives or mechanical techniques to achieve dealcoholisation, all of which distort and alter normal winesâ€?flavour profiles.

Both wines are small-batch (5000 litre) productions and have genuine varietal character, with excellent balance between body and 100% natural acidity. No added sugar, with good flavour concentration, these are vegan-friendly, gastronomic wines.
