Lot 90 Île d’Oléron Bois Ordinaire by Cognac Grosperrin is an extremely rare and old cognac from an small property located in Saint Pierre d’Oleron.

A very rare aged cognac from the Île d’Oléron. These old cognacs are about 30 times rarer than an old Grande Champagne (if we refer to the stocks available throughout the appellation). This sandy terroir, exposed to the Atlantic Ocean, benefits from the influence of the Golf Stream andfrom almost Mediterranean sunshine. There are plants that are not very present on the coast, such as mimosa and tamarisk, giving it the nickname of “the island of herbs”. This cognac comes from a very small property located in Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron, whose viticultoris now retired. An extremely rare batch purchased by Grosperrin and bottled in its cellars.
