Lucidus2023–M.Chapoutier

Lucidus is a 100% Syrah from the slopes of Seyssuel, a black schist terroir opposite Côte-Rôtie. It has a deep ruby colour and a complex nose with aromas of ripe black fruit, liquorice and fine spices. On the palate, the attack is full and silky, supported by a beautiful tannic structure, powerful but perfectly melted. Aged in barrels for 15 to 18 months, this wine combines generosity, elegance and mineral freshness. It is a perfect accompaniment to grilled meats and can be enjoyed now or after a few years’ cellaring.
