Pale brick-garnet. Overripe and cooked, wild-strawberry fruit – surprisingly ripe and sweet character. Mint and rose aromatic lift, with just a hint of tar and slate. Firm to high, powerful, chalky tannins, with a certain lightness of fruit, typical of the vintage. Nevertheless, there’s fair length of perfume, and complexity is developing.
