Historically, winemaking in Puglia involved the use of stone millstones during the fermentation process. Today, the grapes are vinified inside ‘modern’ millstones. The resulting wine has aromas of fresh, jammy red fruit, blending with spicy notes. On tasting, it shows great structure, concentration and a long, pleasant finish.
