Lux–2022–Vignobledel’Ecu

The Lux 2022 from Domaine de l’Ecu is a natural white wine produced by Claire and Fred Niger, made 100% Chardonnay from Muscadet, Loire Valley.

100% Chardonnay, from a parcel growing on an orthogneiss subsoil, certified organic since 1975 and biodynamic by Demeter since 1998. The grapes are harvested by hand, the reception of the harvest is done by gravity, thus without the use of pumps, direct pressing of the whole clusters in a pneumatic press, no clarification and fermentation thanks to the indigenous yeasts. Maturation in amphorae for 12 months. No fining, no filtration, juts a pinch of sulphur. Bottled under the right moon according to the biodynamic calendar.
