Predominantly from ancient Garnacha vines, with Cariñena and a whisper of white grapes adding nuance, the wine spent 14 months in oak of various sizes. Bottled unfiltered, the wine offers an intense aromatic lift – violets, lavender and purple fruits layered over dark mineral notes indicative of its Priorat slate birthplace. On the palate, the tannins are refined yet powerful, carrying great depth, precision and a quiet, resonant energy that makes it one of Spain’s true greats.
