Overlooking the village of Chânes and its beautiful little Romanesque church, the plot looks towards the Saône valley and the sunrise. On a clay soil, it dominates “Les Serreuxdières”. In the Mâcons, it is rather the aristocrat of the neighbourhood. Perched on several hills, Monsieur puts on the airs of a Saint… for which we would happily be damned! A discreet adolescent, it then becomes more familiar, unveiling aromas of pears, candied orange and its mineral character. In adulthood, it becomes inexhaustible. It goes well with shrimp, a crab salad or some beautiful scallops. A very nice match…
