Clémentine and Bastien are the ninth generation of the Baud family, following on from Alain and Jean-Michel since 2016 and continuing the family tradition that began in 1742. Domaine Baud Génération 9 is an act of symbolic modernity. The Vernois vineyard was the birthplace of the estate and the focus of substantial consolidation during the 1960s. These 25 hectares are located on the Côtes du Jura, known as Étoile and Château-Chalon. This Macvin has an intense golden colour, offering combination of dried fruit and vanilla on the nose along with a discrete note and plenty of finesse. A remarkable structure fills the palate, marked with aromas of marzipan and vanilla. The alcohol is well integrated and a lovely fruitiness emerges. One not to be missed and to be enjoyed with a tarte tatin or even a crème brûlée.
