Some vintages mark the history of an estate. 2022 is one of them. Château d’ Yquem2022 bursts from the glass with a perfect balance of richness and freshness. Its nose opens onto a world of fragrances: delicate roses, candied citrus fruit, exotic fruit and orange marmalade. On the palate, it is unctuous, intense and remarkably fine. Everything seems just right, in its place. The sugar is there, but never heavy. It caresses the palate, supported by a lovely liveliness and a hint of noble bitterness that prolongs the emotion. Richer and more charming than the 2021, this 2022 vintage is a wine of seduction and elegance, with notes of dried mango, rare spices, cream and roasted meringue. The finish is long, spicy and almost bewitching.
