Created to mark the 140th anniversary of G.H.Mummby designer Ross Lovegrove, Grand Cordon is a bottle with an innovative style and pure design: the inlaying of the Cordon rouge like a ribbon of glass is a technological feat and a real innovation for the traditional Champagne bottle. The shape of the bottle also reflects the way in which the wine develops. This new cuvée gives pride of place toPinot Noirgrapes (selected for their structure and power), combined with the finesse and elegance ofChardonnayand the fruity roundness of Pinot Meunier. The result is a highly harmonious blend that reveals fruity aromas (lychees, pineapple) and lingers beautifully on a perfectly balanced finish!
