The vines for this cuvée are located beneath the ruins of the old Château de Saint-Romain. With age, it will develop notes of hazelnut and butter. The “Sous le Château” climat is one of the most prestigious in the Saint-Romain appellation and enjoys the best exposure! This climat is currently in negotiations to become a Premier Cru… In the meantime, it certainly has the quality!
