Maruxa Mencía 2023 comes from slate and schist soils in the village of Éntoma. The wine was fermented in stainless steel with one third full bunches and the rest uncrushed, and kept in vats until bottling. The nose gives off a panoply of wet earth, tile and morello cherry aromas, loaded with fruit. On the palate, the acidity is lively, it’s primary, balsamic and juicy, with a touch of earthiness but with a fine texture.
