2018 in Napa was a great vintage, with good rain over winter and a long consistent growing season allowing a more relaxed harvest. Matthiasson are known for achieving great balance and restraint in their cabernet, which is complex and elegant, drinking well now but with years to go yet. Herbaceaous aromatics mixed in with dark fruit, this is a fresher style of Cabernet with balanced acidity and tannin.
