Maynard’s 10-Year-Old Tawny Port is a distinguished fortified wine from Barão de Vilar, produced under the guidance of the renowned Van Zeller family and named after pioneering Port merchant Walter Maynard. Crafted from traditional Douro grapes including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão and Tinta Barroca, it is aged for a decade in seasoned oak casks, developing its classic amber-gold hue and depth of flavour.

Tasting Note:

Inviting aromas of dried fruits, toasted almonds, toffee and subtle honeyed notes. The palate is smooth and rounded with layers of fig, caramel, orange peel, roasted nuts and a touch of spice, balanced by bright acidity for freshness and lift. The finish is long and elegant, leaving lingering hints of coffee, hazelnut and gentle oxidative complexity from extended cask ageing.

Serving & Pairing:

Best enjoyed slightly chilled as an aperitif, or paired with crème brûlée, nut tarts or blue cheese. An approachable yet complex Tawny, equally suited to casual sipping or special occasions.
