Menetou-Salon from Vignobles Berthier is harvested from this appellation’s preferred soils – clay limestone. This terroir brings finesse and roundness to the Menetou-Salon wine.At harvest time, the grapes are carefully pressed and the juice extracted is decanted about 36 hours later. Alcoholic fermentation starts naturally in a temperature-controlled environment (15-18°C).The wine is then aged for several months on fine lees until it is bottled in the spring.
