Tasting Notes: Messias 40 Year Old Tawny Port is a deeply complex and elegant fortified wine, showing a brilliant amber-brown hue with golden reflections. The nose is intensely aromatic, offering layers of dried figs, toasted almonds, orange peel, vanilla, and aged oak. On the palate, it is silky and luxurious, with concentrated flavours of toffee, caramelised nuts, spices, and honey, supported by bright acidity that gives freshness to the long, warming finish.
