This Meursault – Les Tillets 2024 from Alain Gras, with production limited to 3,000 bottles per year, embodies the essence of the Burgundy terroir. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 50% of which are new, this forty-year-old Chardonnay comes from the clay-limestone plot of ‘Les Tillets’ above the ‘Narvaux’ and ‘Genevrières’ Premier Cru vineyards. This wine is distinguished by a floral bouquet evolving towards notes of acacia honey, smoky minerals and juicy pears. On the palate, it offers balanced power and remarkable minerality. At its peak in two years, it can be cellared for up to 15 years. Ideal with white fish in sauce!
