The Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach collection teams the skill of Midleton distillers with the majesty of Irish oak. Each release sees premium Midleton whiskey matured in barrels made from sustainably sourced virgin Irish oak.

For this fifth release, six oak trees from Co Wicklow’s Kilranelagh Estate were used to create a limited number of casks. These casks were filled with a range of fifteen-to-twenty-eight-year-old single pot still whiskeys previously matured in American oak barrels. This is Tree 1 in this very special collection.
