Sans This small batch release of 4,200 bottles is from a vatting of whiskies matured in ex-Manzanilla sherry casks (6 hogsheads and 5 butts). A lightly scented malt, slightly dry and nutty, a bit like the sherry itself, then on the palate, mildly sweet. The finish is tangy, with a spike of pepper and brine through the brisk finish. 54.3% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. Tasted from a 30ml sample.
