Tasting Note

With an average age of 7 – 8 years, this is one of Niepoort’s classic house styles. Whilst retaining some of its fresh figgy-fruit, Senior also displays clear nutty, aged notes, including a dash of rancio on the finish.

Whilst more likely to be drunk on its own, Senior partners excellently with aged hard cheeses, and desserts which feature toffee or dried fruit ingredients.
