Made from a blend of Syrah and Marselan grapes grown at altitude in the Upper Orb Valley, this wine comes from black schist soils that promote aromatic expression and structure. After a long maceration and several months of ageing, it reveals a deep colour with purple highlights. The nose is dominated by black fruits, liquorice and slightly roasted notes. The palate is structured and balanced, with a lingering finish and good ageing potential. Ideal with red meat, stews or Mediterranean cuisine.
