Cultivated biodynamically, in 2023 the Clos delivers a wine of remarkable purity and harmony, reflecting the estate’s delicate expertise. The 2023 vintage stands out for its precision: vibrant fruit, supple texture and perfectly integrated tension. The nose seduces with its finesse: black cherry, raspberry, violet and sweet pepper, enhanced by a touch of undergrowth and graphite. On the palate, the wine combines fullness and precision: the texture is silky, the tannins delicate, and the subtle freshness prolongs the wine in a straightforward, salty and persistent finish. This is a Clos de Thorey that is both sensual and ethereal, where the strength of the Nuits terroir is expressed in a nuanced and balanced interpretation.
