Nuits-Saint-Georges is the most southerly village in theCôte de Nuits , to which it gave its name and which makes up the other half of the Côte d’Or. Nuits-Saint-Georges is world-famous, and is also associated with the Apollo XV mission that took this wine into space. With its clay-limestone terroir and vines whose average age is around 30 years, this great red offers an exceptional range of aromas. Aged for 10 to 12 months in oak barrels, with 20% new barrels, this Burgundy offers aromas of cherries, blackcurrants, violets, truffles and spices, as well as an intense, vibrant colour. Balanced with peppery notes and subtle oak, it stands out for its concentration and very good length on the palate. It’s sure to sublimate red meat and delight your guests!
