Joseph Krug was one of the first to realise that the secret of Champagne lay in the blending rather than in reliance on the wines of a single year and, therefore started a vast library of reserve wines to compose his prestigious sparkling wine.

A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier from up to 30 different premier Cru plots, some no bigger than a back garden, and from as many as 10 different vintages, all barrel fermented.
